Vegan Protein Shake
Protein plays a role in stabilising blood sugar levels, repairing muscles from exercise and keeping us fuller for longer after eating.
This recipe can support recovery from injury with calcium being essential to maintaining bone formation and density, muscle contraction, protein synthesis and maintaining heart health.
- 1 Food processor
- 1 scoop Soy protein powder
- 200 ml Soya milk
- 5 Ice-cubes
- ½ cup Strawberries (frozen)
- ½ Banana (frozen)
- 1 tbsp Cacao powder (optional)
- Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blitz for 2 minutes before serving.
