How Does An Athlete Live?
An athlete’s life is characterised by discipline, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Each day is structured, and usually consists of workouts, training sessions and recovery sessions. Their lives revolve around nutrition to fuel their bodies optimally and to get the most out of their training. Recovery is equally prioritised, with time devoted to rest, sleep, and various recovery techniques such as ice baths or active recovery sessions. Beyond the physical aspect, mental resilience is enhanced through goal-setting and maintaining a positive mindset. Athletes often navigate a demanding schedule, high pressure phases of competition and the stress of set back, requiring adaptability and time management skills, just like we all do through the ups and downs of life. Athletes build these skills and habits early in their career so they can sustain their health and performance.
What if we told you that the daveynutrition team wants to give you the chance to experience what it feels like to live like an athlete and realise your true potential? In April 2024, for 5 days from the 3rd to the 7th of April, we will be running our ‘Live Like An Athlete’ Event in Luz, Portugal!
Since the success of our last trip to Portugal in May, the team have been building towards running another transformative experience in the sun that will allow people to experience an all inclusive learning, training and social event in Portugal once again. The aim is to allow you to create a performance template for life!
You will have your training planned out, nutrition and meals provided, recovery strategies implemented and full access to all the information that will help you realize your potential. This event is about creating an extraordinary experience for competitive active people. It will put you on a higher path for health and performance for the rest of your life!

Who Is This Event Most Suited To?
This event is not only for athletes who want to further improve their training and performance, but also for people with a good training level & who want a template for even greater success. You don’t need to be really ‘fit’ or an elite ‘athlete’ to be a part of this event, you just need to be determined to improve your knowledge and ability, alongside having a good base level of fitness. Our event is also perfect for people preparing for the season ahead, or events like triathlon, marathon, team sports or other sporting events/competitions.
