For Exercise Day
Performance Benefits
Carbohydrates are the body's primary and preferred source of energy. During exercise, especially high-intensity or endurance activities, carbs are rapidly converted into glucose, providing fuel for our muscles. Protein is crucial for muscle repair and growth. During and after exercise, muscle tissues experience micro-tears, and adequate protein intake supports the repair and rebuilding process, contributing to muscle strength and endurance.
Health Benefits
The Greek yoghurt & protein powder provides a significant protein boost, essential for muscle repair and satiety, while the Weetabix adds fibre for digestive health. The inclusion of bananas contributes potassium, essential for heart health, muscle health and nervous system functioning.
