Equipment
- Non-stick pan
- Oven
- 8x8 pan
- Baking paper
Ingredients
- 130 g Oats
- 80 g Mixed seeds
- 4 tbsp Almond butter (60g)
- 4 tbsp Honey
- 3 scoop Whey protein powder (vanilla)
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil (30g)
- 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut (30g)
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
- In an oven pre-heated to 180°C, roast the oats and mixed seeds, with 1 tbsp of honey drizzled on top, for 10 minutes.
- In a medium-sized non-stick pan, melt nut butter, coconut oil and remaining honey on medium heat. Be careful not to boil or caramelise.
- Remove from heat, quickly add the oats and seeds as well as the remaining dry ingredients and mix well to form a dough.
- Add a small drop of almond or whole milk if the mix is not binding.
- Spread the mix in shallow 8x8 pan lined with baking paper, and pack down.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours and then cut into your desired size.
