50gDark chocolate(chopped)

80gHazelnuts

Instructions
Soak the dates in hot water for 15 minutes.
Blitz the hazelnuts in a food processor for two minutes.
Place the hazelnuts on a tray with a pinch of salt and roast in a preheated oven for 10 minutes at 180℃. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool when finished.
Add about a third of the hazelnuts as well as the oats, hemp, protein, cacao powder and a third of the chopped chocolate to a large bowl and mix to combine.
Drain the dates and add them to a food processor with the peanut butter, money and milk.
Blitz for 1 minute. Stop and scrape the mixture on the sides down towards the blade. Blitz again, repeat this 2-3 times until smooth.
Add the date mixture into the bowl with the oats and mix well to fully combine with the dry ingredients.
Shape the mixture into balls using your hands and place on a flat tray or plate.
Melt the other half of the dark chocolate with a tsp of coconut oil.
Spoon a dollop of chocolate over the top of the energy balls and allow to drip down the sides.
Transfer the chopped hazelnuts into a small bowl.
Before the chocolate hardens, dip the energy balls with the melted chocolate side down in the hazelnuts to coat.
Place them back on the tray or plate and leave to set in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving.
