Oats are such a versatile, nutritious ingredient. Not only are they a good source of slow releasing complex carbohydrates, they are also a source of fibre (namingly beta-glucans) , B vitamins and very low in sugar.

Change the flavour of the yoghurt on top if you want to spice things up!

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Microwave

Ingredients

  • 50 g Oats
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 scoop Whey protein powder
  • 1 Espresso (50-80ml water)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 150 g Fage yoghurt
1 Serving

Instructions

  • Mix the oats, baking soda and whey together in a bowl.
  • Stir in the coffee, half the yoghurt and half the honey. Mix well.
  • Microwave for 1 minute.
  • Remove from the microwave and stir.
  • Microwave for another 30 seconds if needed (depending on desired consistency).
  • Mix the rest of the yoghurt and honey together and serve over the oats.
