Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Non-stick pan
  • Small pot

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Tin of tomatoes
  • 1 handful Basil leaves
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Cream
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil on a medium sized skillet. Add the onions and garlic and fry until translucent.
  • Put the onions and garlic in a food processor with the tomatoes, cream, basil, honey, pinch of salt and pepper. Blitz until smooth.
  • Empty into a small pot and cook on a low heat for 5-10 minutes.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Tip: Add in some chilli pepper for spice.
