A great source of carbohydrates to keep glycogen (stored form of carbohydrate), topped up between meals. The sugar content of this recipe is relatively high (25g per serving), making it more suited to an exercise day or fuel up day, when carbohydrate targets are higher.
Health Benefits
Live yoghurts contain live microbes which support optimum gut health and the immune system. Fermented dairy products such as live yoghurts (and kefir too) contain lower amounts of lactose than regular dairy products (ie. milk and cheese), so those who are sensitive to lactose, tend to be able to tolerate them in greater amounts.
