Performance Benefits

The protein from the milk aids in muscle recovery post-exercise. This is a lower carbohydrate recipe, meaning it is a great option for rest or less intense activity days, where carb requirements are lower.
Health Benefits

Dark chocolate provides antioxidants, promoting heart health and reducing inflammation. The milk adds protein and calcium, both essential for bone health. The touch of honey not only sweetens the drink naturally but also brings potential antibacterial properties.
Expert Tips

You can add a pinch of chilli or cinnamon if you'd like! Coconut milk is a personal favourite of mine! To boost the protein content, try adding some chocolate protein powder too.
