Homemade varieties of granola can be made to suit your specific needs. For example, add more oats, dried fruit and honey if you want to fuel up on carbohydrates for a busy day ahead. Alternatively, for a lower carbohydrate option, add more nuts, seeds and oils and less dried fruit and oats.

100gDried fruit mix
2tbspCoconut oil

Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients, except for the dried fruit in a large bowl.
Melt the coconut oil on medium heat, before stirring in honey and olive oil.
Add this mix to the dry mix, and bake in a pre-heated oven to 200°C for 15 minutes.
Add in the dried fruit, mix and bake for another 10 minutes until the granola is a light brown colour.
